Philipe Coutinho called his move from Liverpool to Barcelona in 2018 a 'dream'.

And he enjoyed an impressive first few months at the Catalan giants.

He scored 10 goals in 22 games as the Brazilian playmaker adapted to life in Spain quickly.

However, his first full season at the club has been a disaster.

Coutinho has struggled throughout and has not justified the €120million Barcelona paid for him last year.

He's made 41 appearances this season but, a large number of those have been off the bench.

Coutinho has hit the back of the net just nine times.

His performances have been so worrying that a lot of Barcelona fans have already lost patience in him.

And it seems Barcelona have too.

According to Goal, the Barca board are open to offers and would be willing to discuss those in excess of €80m.

That's €40 million less than what they paid for him last January. Ouch.

Coutinho is said to be determined to succeed at Barcelona but is unhappy with his current situation.

Coutinho has been linked to Manchester United in the past, but Goal reveal that a move to Liverpool's fierce rivals is unlikely.

The midfielder is put off the idea of heading back after his family struggled to fully adapt to life in England.

The report does name Paris Saint-Germain as the most likely option.

PSG will have the money required to make a bid for Coutinho, while the possibility of linking him up with fellow Brazilians Neymar, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos is also appealing.

With Neymar and Kylian Mbappe's futures also under speculation, he could prove to be a replacement if one of them choose to leave.
