Trent Alexander-Arnold's rise in football has been quite sensational.

The 20-year-old has gone from a timid academy product to one of Liverpool's key men.

When Alexander-Arnold is absent, Jurgen Klopp's side lose so much of their potency from the right-hand side.

This season, the local lad has provided six assists from right-back in just 22 Premier League games, scoring once as well.

His form has seen him become a regular in Gareth Southgate's England squad, although he will miss the Three Lions' upcoming games due to a back injury.

However, Alexander-Arnold certainly received some good news during the break, because he has signed a very lucrative new boot deal with Under Armour.

It is the second biggest deal handed to a current England player, with Harry Kane's deal with Nike the only one eclipsing Alexander Arnold's.

And to make him even more of a hero in the eyes of the Liverpool faithful, Alexander-Arnold has decided to pump the millions he receives from Under Armour back into his local community.

As per the Liverpool Echo, the defender has signed a four-year deal, but the reported figure of £6.4m over that time period is said to be a tad wide of the mark.

Nevertheless, the deal will earn him millions and Alexander-Arnold will use that to purchase land and build facilities for the local community - such as football pitches.

The Liverpool man and his representatives will look to begin the process in the summer months and plans are already in place to improve key areas in the city with the Under Armour deal.

Well played, Trent.

The rapport Alexander-Arnold has with supporters is similar to that of Steven Gerrard, an academy product who knows how the city works and how the people think.

And the sky really does look the limit for the 20-year-old in the famous red shirt.
