Liverpool fans aren't interested in swapping Mo Salah for Paulo Dybala plus cash this summer

By last year's standards, Mohamed Salah is having an average season at Liverpool.

Seventeen goals in 31 Premier League appearances and just one in his last eight is a far cry from the form that saw the 26-year-old bag 32 in 36 last campaign.

He hasn't looked the same player since the turn of 2019 - Salah has missed a lot of chances recently - and Liverpool fans are praying he's able to rediscover his form.

Liverpool need the Egyptian to start scoring if they're going to have any hope of winning the Premier League, with Manchester City looking in ominous form.

Jurgen Klopp was asked this week about Salah's recent misfortunes in front of goal and said he expects his star man to deliver the goods once the international break is over.

"That's exactly what Mo has to do, exactly the same: just work, do the right things and it will come again," said the German as he compared Salah's form to Sadio Mane's.

"He's just rather unlucky, whereas Sadio is lucky at the moment."

Regardless of Salah's patchy form this season, the Egypt winger has been incredible since joining Liverpool for £36.9m in 2017.

Last summer he signed a new five-year contract which will keep him on Merseyside until 2023, so he isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

But that hasn't stopped the transfer rumours from emerging and the latest one comes from Italy, which claims Juventus are prepared to offer Paulo Dybala plus cash for Salah.

It's not the most reliable rumour so we're going to dismiss it for now, but Liverpool fans were asked on Thursday night if they would consider Juventus' supposed offer.

And the answer was a resounding no, as you can see from the reaction below.

No surprises there. Salah has gone through similar dry spells for Liverpool and he always gets back to scoring eventually, so Liverpool fans have nothing to worry about.

Although it has to be said, he needs to find his shooting boots sooner rather than later. No pressure, Mo.
