Safe to say Cristiano Ronaldo has made the desired impact at Juventus since joining them from Real Madrid last summer.

Juve splashed €100m on the Portuguese to improve their chances of winning the Champions League and last week, he went a long way towards repaying them.

A stunning hat-trick from Ronaldo against Atletico Madrid in the last 16 second leg saw Juventus recover from 2-0 down to reach the quarter-finals.

No one gave Juventus a hope in hell of progressing against Europe's best defence, but Ronaldo did what he does best by scoring two headers and a penalty to turn the tie around.

Next up for the Old Lady is Ajax, who memorably beat Ronaldo's former club, Real Madrid, 4-1 to knock the champions out.

Ronaldo has also delivered in Serie A by scoring 19 goals so far this season and firing Juventus 15 points clear at the top of the table. Another Scudetto appears imminent.

He's been nothing short of superb for Juve and he's made a great impression on his teammates - but not just for his goalscoring heroics.

Emre Can also joined Juventus last summer and after spending nine months with Ronaldo he's realised just how polite and grounded the 33-year-old is.

According to the German, Ronaldo doesn't act like he's the star and that people would be "surprised" by how normal he is behind the scenes.

"I can tell you that Cristiano is a pretty relaxed guy," Can told Bild. "He has his feet on the ground and he does not exhibit any star status.

"He has really impressed me. He is the first to say 'hello' and 'thank you' for everything.

"He does not only behave like that with other players, but also with coaches, masseurs... People would be surprised if they saw how normal he is."

Ronaldo has got a bad rap down the years for being egotistical and wanting to be the main man at every club he plays, but it sounds like he's the complete opposite.

Regardless, he seems to have ticked all the boxes for Juventus.
