Paul Pogba has been magnificent in the last few months. The French midfielder's form has picked up dramatically since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as Manchester United boss in December. He has been pivotal as the Red Devils have propelled themselves into Premier League top four contention. In fact, his performances have been so good that he could well be the best midfielder in the world at the moment. And he showed exactly why in France's game against Moldova on Friday night.Pogba started the game and pulled off an outrageous assist for Antoine Griezmann's opening goal.Picking up the ball  25 yards out from goal, Pogba feigned to shoot before playing a lovely dinked ball over the top for Griezmann to latch onto.

That is just majestic. Not many players in world football can produce a pass of that quality.

France needed some magic to break Moldova down and they got that from Pogba.

Didier Deschamps' side then scored twice more to go into half-time 3-0 up.

Pogba worried some Manchester United fans earlier on in the week when he declared that Real Madrid was his 'dream move'.

But former United striker Dimitar Berbatov has brushed off those headlines, saying Pogba will be a United player 'for a long time'.

“Paul Pogba is rarely too far away from the headlines but I'm not concerned about his Real Madrid quotes this week," he told Betfair, per Goal.

“I supported lots of other teams when I played for United because I was a fan of good football. I admired clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich.

“I don't think there is anything to worry about here. We live in a world where you can say what you want and I can imagine the words being taken out of context.

“Paul will be a United player for a long time, as long as he and the club want to be together."
