Paul Pogba's renaissance under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2018/19 has made for glorious viewing for Manchester United fans.

While he divides opinion among pundits, amidst the Red Devils faithful he is viewed in the highest of regards.

Many see him as the most complete midfielder in the Premier and his statistics this season kind of back that theory up.

In 27 league games this season, he has 11 goals and nine assists.

However, his recent comments about Real Madrid didn't exactly go down too well with, well, anyone associated with United.

"Like I've always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It's one of the biggest clubs in the world," Pogba told reporters, per Sky Sports.

"There is also [Zinedine] Zidane as a coach and it's a dream for anybody who likes football."

Sometimes, it really is better to say nothing and it seems as if Pogba's revelation about his admiration for Los Blancos may be supported by a desire to join the club.

According to Spanish publication Marca, the French midfielder is 'serious' about engineering a move to the Bernabeu for next season.

While he's rediscovered his form at United, the pull of Real appears to be too strong - Pogba was also linked with a move to Barcelona back in the summer.

His agent Mino Raiola is looking to get the ball rolling, with Pogba yet to sign a contract extension with United, with his current deal expiring in the summer of 2021.

While the Red Devils will be in no rush given that contract length, they may think about investing if Pogba's head really is set on a move to Real.

United could certainly command a mammoth fee for him and could probably bring in two, maybe three, new stars to improve the squad.

Would United fans take Jadon Sancho, Milan Skriniar and Bruno Fernandes for Pogba? It'd be a hard one to turn down.
