A whole host of Liverpool legends graced the Anfield stage once again yesterday as they took on a team of former AC Milan stars.
More than 50,000 fans watched on as the likes of Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler, Cafu, Kaka and Andrea Pirlo rolled back the years.
Liverpool came out on top, winning 3-2 in an event that raised around £1million for the LFC Foundation charity.
Fowler opened the scoring before Djibril Cisse added a second as the Reds took a two-goal advantage into half-time.
However, Milan hit back in the second period.

Goals from Andrea Pirlo and Giuseppe Pancaro completed the come-back, but the Reds did find a late winner thanks to Gerrard.
The former Liverpool skipper was one of the stars that helped the Reds win the Champions League against Milan back in 2005.
And he teamed up with other Istanbul heroes including Cisse, Carragher, Luis Garcia and goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek.
The latter made a couple of crucial saves during that memorable final before stopping Andriy Shevchenko’s penalty in the shoot-out as Liverpool clinched their fifth Champions League title.
Dudek regained a spot between the sticks yesterday and continued to show why he very much remains a fans’ favourite at Anfield.
That’s because the former Polish goalkeeper made one supporter’s day extra special by handing him the ball during the match.
And you can see what happens down below:
Brilliant from Dudek.
The former goalkeeper spent six years at Anfield after joining from Feyenoord in 2001.
He would go on to win the FA Cup, League Cup and of course, the 2005 Champions League before securing a move to Real Madrid two years later where he would retire.
Dudek won almost everything but the Premier League title at Liverpool but will be hoping his former club can end top of the pile this season.
