Sergio Ramos is without doubt one of the biggest personalities in world football.

Some love him and a lot of football fans hate his guts, but there's no doubting he will go down as one of the most memorable and talented defenders in the history of the game.

Ramos has scored over 100 career goals for Sevilla, Real Madrid and Spain, a ridiculous feat for a centre-back.

Last night in Spain's 2-1 win over Norway, Ramos scored the match-winning penalty, taking his tally to five in his last five for La Roja.

Not bad for a 32-year-old and it seems his performance was appreciated by opposing striker Joshua King, who scored the equaliser for Norway on the night.

The Norwegian striker spoke to reporters after the game and claimed he saw no evidence of Ramos' 'dirty side'.

"Ramos has a reputation of being dirty and rough, but I do not remember going up against a centre-back as nice as him," he told Norwegian publication VG, per Marca.

"I have not seen all of his matches but I think that all of his challenges were clean and he seemed to me a very good sportsman.

"He won some duels and I won others, I think it was a good game."

Rarely do you hear praise of that kind about Ramos.

In the video below, you can see King and Ramos sharing a rather friendly moment together. Are we sure this is the real Ramos?

Ramos received a lot of criticism for his foul on Mohamed Salah in the Champions League final last summer, resulting in a shoulder injury for the Egyptian.

Throughout his illustrious, trophy-ladder career, there have been numerous glimpses of his 'dirty side', as Barcelona rival Lionel Messi will tell you.

His 25 red cards in La Liga are an all-time record in Europe's top five leagues.

King also spoke very fondly of Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk recently, saying, per the Echo: "Van Djik is the strongest and best I have ever met."

We reckon Van Dijk and Ramos certainly make it into King's current World XI...
