Nick Kyrgios has once again hit the headlines following a war of words with a spectator leading to the fan being ejected from his seat. The incident came just a day after the Aussie tennis player received backlash for an on-court spat with an umpire, resulting in Kyrgios calling him an “absolute f***ing disgrace”.However, the 23-year-old managed to keep his cool on this occasion, laughing at the spectator who told him to “Get a new haircut,” before responding with a jibe of his own.“You got a free ticket,” Kyrgios inquired - see below. “Did you get a free ticket? Why are you watching me on a Sunday night?“You got nothing else to do on a Sunday night? Sunday night and you’re still out here watching me?”

The umpire then managed to calm things down for three points before another exchange between the pair saw the fan escorted away by security.

The world number 33 opened up on the incident in a post-match interview, stating that his aim was to get the man kicked out.

“At the change of end he literally just said ‘You’re a d***.’ Then he was like ‘Come here and say it.’

“I had a bit of fun with it,” Kyrgios continued. “I knew that I was going to get him kicked out.

“I loved it. I think the crowd loved it.”

The crowd were certainly on the Aussie’s side, applauding as the man was escorted from his seat, with Kyrgios waving to him on his way out.

Kyrgios also enjoyed himself on the court, defeating Dušan Lajović 6-3, 6-1 to progress into the round of 16 of the Miami Open.

He will now face Borna Ćorić on Tuesday, looking to book his place in the quarter finals of the competition.
