Callum Hudson-Odoi's situation must be worrying for Chelsea.

The west London club gave him his debut in 2018 and he has since gone from strength to strength.

However, there were doubts about his future in January.

There were reports that Hudson-Odoi wanted to leave the club in search of more minutes, with Bayern Munich having three bids rejected for him.

But, in the end, the 18-year-old stayed at the club.

He has since made his debut for England and then earned his first start for his country just a few days later.

And, after making his England bow, there have been further reports linking Hudson-Odoi with a move away from Chelsea.

The Times report that Hudson-Odoi is 'adamant' that he wants to leave the club.

His determination to leave Chelsea has increased since Gareth Southgate gave him his England bow.

He has not started in the Premier League for Chelsea and thinks he needs to leave for first-team football elsewhere.

The report adds that Bayern, as well as Manchester United, are both preparing bids for him in the summer.

However, Chelsea are digging their heels in and have told Hudson-Odoi that he won't be sold.

They have offered him a new contract worth £80,000-per-week to convince him to stay.

But the report states that relations with his representatives have soured and the club are resigned to the probability that he will not extend his say.

Regardless if he signs a new contract, Chelsea will refuse to sell their prized asset and are prepared to lose him on a free transfer next year.

It seems Chelsea have made their mind up and won't sell the youngster, even if it is against his wishes.

Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has stated that Hudson-Odoi deserves a chance to start for the club.

"It might be that he lifts the team in a different way and gives them a different dimension," said Hasselbaink, per the BBC.

"Chelsea should bring more youngsters through. I would say Hudson-Odoi deserves a chance."
