It has been known for some time now that Dean Ambrose will be leaving the WWE once his contract with the company expires later this month.Ambrose has not had many appearances on Monday Night Raw since WWE announced his departure in January, and it has been speculated that he may not make an appearance at WrestleMania as well. The Lunatic Fringe has been booked for several appearances in the WWE before his contract expires later this month, and he also appeared on Raw last night after the show went off the air.The last match on Raw this week saw Baron Corbin defeat Rey Mysterio, booking The Lone Wolf strong ahead of his upcoming match at WrestleMania against Kurt Angle. To make sure the fans went home happy, WWE sent out Ambrose after Raw went off the air to deliver a Dirty Deeds to Corbin in the middle of the ring.

Reports from fans at the Capitol One Arena in Washington DC last night as well stated that The Lunatic Fringe gave a final bow as he made his way back up to the stage area as well.

The three-time Intercontinental Champion hasn't been booked for a match at WrestleMania yet, and since he's expected to be leaving WWE in April, he's not expected to appear on many Raws either.

He could still appear at live events before his contract expires, but this might have been the last time WWE fans will see Ambrose inside a WWE ring on Raw.

Ambrose had reportedly informed WWE officials following the first Raw after the Royal Rumble earlier this year that he would not be renewing his contract and would be leaving the company shortly after WrestleMania 35.

WWE confirmed The Lunatic Fringe's decision in a statement on their website, and it has since been reported that he had been offered an improved contract by WWE, which he turned down.

The reason why Ambrose turned down a new deal with WWE is due to long-standing frustration with the creative direction of his character and a particular dislike of the 'hokey' material he had been given.

WWE certainly won't be the same without Ambrose, and many fans will be keeping their fingers crossed that they haven't seen him inside a WWE ring for the last time.
