It is no secret that the Premier League's top six teams have been utterly dominant in the 2018/19 season.

The gap between Manchester United in sixth and Wolves in seventh stands at 14 points, while Manchester City at the top are currently 33 ahead of Nuno Espirito Santo's men.

There is also the startling fact that not a single member of the division's bottom three clubs has picked up a single point against the top six, which we reported on HERE.

Thirty-one games, 31 losses, the gulf in class is becoming more and more obvious in a league famed for the phrase 'anyone can beat anyone'.

However, there is no doubting that there is quality outside of the top six in the Premier League.

Wolves, Watford, Leicester, Everton and Crystal Palace all possess some of the finest players in the league and often provide tough tests for the top teams.

But who would reign supreme if the sextet at the summit of the league were wiped from the records this season? Well, Watford would be on course to land the title.

In their 22 games against those around them and below them, the Hornets have mustered a very impressive 43 points, five ahead of Everton in second.

You can view the full table below, which further highlights just how bizarre Wolves' record against the top six has been.

THE CURRENT TABLE

There's a very familiar feel about the bottom half, with Fulham recording just two points away from home against the rest all season - even Huddersfield have managed six.

Southampton actually have the second worst home record against those around them, earning just 11 points all season.

What the table will look like come the end of the season should make for interesting reading, especially with Watford, Wolves and Brighton all involved in FA Cup semi-finals.
