Manchester United lost ground in the race for the top four on Tuesday evening with a 2-1 defeat away to Wolves.Scott McTominay actually gave United the lead in the 13th minute, but Diogo Jota's strike and an own goal from Chris Smalling saw them leave Molineux empty handed. It means they're now sixth in the Premier League and two points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, who have a game in hand and can move five points ahead.Ole Gunner Solskjaer will have been frustrated by his side's defending for Wolves' 77th-minute winner, with Phil Jones, David de Gea and Smalling all culpable.Jones failed to win his header against Raul Jimenez, De Gea wandered into no man's land and Smalling missed his clearance before prodding the ball into the back of his own net.It was comical from United, and what made the whole piece of play even funnier was Jones' face as he realised a goal was coming.

Classic. Jones has a reputation for pulling the funniest faces when he's defending and his expression against Wolves was another one to add to the collection.

What's more is Norwegian channel TV 2 Sporten have slowed down Wolves' goal and zoomed up on Jones to create a slow-motion video of his face. Check it out below.

We can't stop watching it either - it's just mesmerising.

Jones' gurns might not be around for much longer amid reports that Solskjaer could look to sell the Englishman and Smalling this summer as part of a squad revamp.

Solskjaer has improved United's defence since he replaced Jose Mourinho in December, but old habits die hard and they're still conceding sloppy goals.

Should Jones and Smalling leave, it's expected that the Red Devils will target the likes of Samuel Umtiti, Kalidou Koulibaly and Raphael Varane.

The trio would each represent upgrades on Jones but cost upwards of £70m, which would be money well spent if it meant United challenging for the Premier League title next season.
