There was a time when Hulk was one of the most recognisable names in European football. The Brazilian played for Porto between 2008 and 2012, where he scored 77 goals in 170 appearances. Not bad at all. In his later years at Porto, Hulk was linked with a number of Europe's top clubs but eventually set on a move to Zenit Saint Petersberg. In Russia, he picked up from where he left off and actually managed to hit the same amount of goals, 77, in 148 games. In terms of trophies, Hulk's European haul isn't too bad. He won the Portuguese league every season with Porto, as well as the Europa League in 2011.

For Zenit, he picked up another domestic title, as well as the Russian Cup and Russian Super Cup.

But it wasn't winning trophies that Hulk really became famous for. During those years, he became renowned for scoring screamers.

It seemed that every other week the striker was smashing in outrageous long-range goals for both club and country.

For quite a while, it was suggested that he had the most powerful shot in European football.

So in 2016, when he left for the Chinese Super League at the age of 29, eyebrows were raised because many fans still thought he had a lot to give at the top level.

Since joining Shanghai SIPG, we've heard very little about Hulk. But on Friday, he rolled back the years by scoring a 30-yard screamer. Check it out below (skip to 3 minutes 25 in the highlights).

Wow. He's hit the ball so hard that the cameraman can't even keep up with it. The poor goalkeeper has absolutely no chance - it's surprising that the goalposts are still standing!

Now 32, it seems Hulk is still capable of smashing powerful shots in for Shanghai SIPG. It's just a shame he's doing it in the CSL and not one of Europe's top leagues instead.
