One of the most popular stables in WWE history was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last night in the form of D-Generation X.
Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, Billy Gunn, X-Pac, and Road Dogg were all inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of one of the leading factions of the Attitude Era.
During their speech, all the members of D-Generation X were joking around with one another several times, like they used to during their active years as a stable.
It included a bit where the entire group went on and on about not being able to say 'Vince McMahon' while repeatedly saying 'Vince McMahon'.
At one point, Triple H told the crowd Vince would hire everyone just to fire them, but Gunn made sure to point out that 'he can’t fire me' since he now works for All Elite Wrestling.

This prompted a huge reaction from the crowd, with 'AEW!' chants breaking out, but The Game had a response in mind to flip the script.
He said: "Vince McMahon will buy that little piss ant company just to fire you again."
A slight dig there at AEW by Triple H, but one that shouldn't be looked too far into either as it was just part of a joke.
Even at one point later on, Michaels cracked a joke about Gunn being 'ALL IN', and The Game responded to fans doing The Young Bucks' 'Too Sweet whoop whoop' chant by making sure they knew DX did things that were cool and that isn’t cool at all.
Nevertheless, it was all a bit of fun, but this also might be one of the first times WWE has actually indirectly referenced to AEW on their programming, even if it was only during the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Gunn's last appearance in the WWE for a while might very well be when D-Generation X is presented to the crowd inside MetLife Stadium during the Hall of Fame Class of 2019 segment at WrestleMania tonight.
