Kylian Mbappe is currently world football’s hottest property following an extraordinary start to his professional career. The French forward burst onto the scene with AS Monaco a few years ago before earning a move to Paris Saint-Germain.At the tender age of 20, Mbappe has already won multiple titles, including two Ligue 1 winners’ medals, the French Cup and, of course, the FIFA World Cup with France. He’s also picked up a host of individual accolades along the way and is expected to seriously challenge for the Ballon d’Or over the coming seasons.Various studies have named Mbappe as the most valuable player on the planet right now, with Jose Mourinho recently telling reporters: "At an economic level, age matters and I think that Mbappe is the most profitable player in the world today and the most expensive if we talk about a possible transfer."

It might be a long time before another player with Mbappe’s talent emerges; however, it might not be long before another Mbappe is playing professionally.

Meet 13-year-old Ethan Mbappe, Kylian’s younger brother who has made headlines after being shortlisted for a French FA administered centre of excellence course at Clairefontaine.

Spanish newspaper AS report that the teenager will now join 48 other promising youngsters at the end of April at the French headquarters to be taught various disciplines to help improve their overall game.

Ethan joins a list including the likes of Thierry Henry, Blaise Matuidi, Nicolas Anelka and his older brother to be shortlisted for this honour as teenagers.

The 48 youngsters will then be whittled down to 23, who will advance to the ‘definitive group’ and earn a two-year scholarship with the federation.

If successful, Ethan will be released at weekends to play for his club side Paris Saint-Germain, while receiving his education at the famous Clairefontaine base.

Ethan made his PSG Under-12s debut in the Mediterranean International Cup last year - a competition previously graced by the likes of Lionel Messi and Cesc Fabregas - and marked his first appearance with a goal in a 9-0 victory.

He’s regularly appeared on his brother’s social media platforms, often watches PSG’s first team at the Parc des Princes, and is apparently the reason for Kylian’s arms-folding celebration - thanks to their battles playing on the PlayStation.

He was also one of the mascots, walking out alongside his elder sibling, for a Champions League clash between Monaco and Juventus in 2017.

Give it a few years and he could become a household name in his own right.
