With WrestleMania 35 ending up being five-and-a-half hours long, you'd think every main card match would have gotten ample time to impress the crowd.Spare a thought for Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio though, whose match for the United States Championship lasted less than a minute. After a flying start to the match, Mysterio made a mistake off the top rope, allowing Joe to pick up the pieces and lock in a Coquina Clutch to retain the title.Despite the short time they got, it did indeed serve a purpose to show the Samoan Submission Machine as a true killer in the ring and we've had to wait a long time for Joe to look like a badass.Speculation was rife that an injury picked up the previous week on Raw by Mysterio was the reason for the short match length but Dave Meltzer confirmed that it was simply a victim of time-cutting.Rey has had many great 'Mania moments though, such as capturing his first world title at WrestleMania 22, so a 55-second match will not bother him too much when he's now in the twilight of his career.Mysterio's been in the business for so long now though and he can see the finishing line coming very soon indeed, and told WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry on Busted Open Radio what his future holds.“The evolution of this sport has been incredibly dramatic in the change. I definitely don’t see myself doing this many more years longer," Mysterio said."Although the opportunities that I’ve gotten in my return to WWE, to be able to face guys like the caliber of Andrade, who is a third generation wrestler, have been incredible.

"So that’s kind of brings that desire within me that I can still do this, I can still go. But of course if I was to do this on the schedule that I was back in the day ... I don’t think I could handle it.”

Mysterio has had many surgeries in his time, especially to his knees, and you'd think that would limit his skill-set but he's continued to fly about the ring like he is still in his youth.

We may even see the next Mysterio in the ring sooner than later, as in recent weeks his son Dominick has appeared more frequently by his side.

The 22-year-old started training with former WCW and WWE wrestler Lance Storm last year and who knows - we may see the passing of the torch in a few years from one Mysterio to another.
