Wladimir Klitschko could be tempted to come out of retirement for the right price, according to his older brother Vitali. He has claimed the former WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO World Champion would consider an offer of $100m for three-fights, from London-based video streaming company DAZN.Wladimir, 43, has not had a professional boxing fight since losing to current IBF, WBA (Super), and WBO World Champion Anthony Joshua, by technical knockout at Wembley Stadium, in April 2017.Despite there being an option for a rematch with Joshua, the Ukrainian opted against it and instead decided to retire. His brother Vitali is also retired, having last fought in September 2012.

Unlike his younger brother, however, the 47-year-old was victorious in his last fight – a fourth round TKO over Syrian Manuel Charr.

Since hanging up his gloves, Vitali has gone into politics in his home country of Ukraine, and currently serves as Mayor of Kiev.

Reports surrounding Wladimir’s return have been flying around for some time, with German newspaper Abendzeitung being just one source claiming the 1996 Olympic Gold Super-Heavyweight Medallist will fight again.

Also, according to heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte, who in January told Behind The Gloves: "Klitschko is definitely coming back, 100 per cent.

“He's a smart man, he knows how to play the media and control stuff. He does what he does and did it for years.

"George Foreman did it and he thinks he wants to come back and do it to. Klitschko is all about legacy, not about money. It's about cementing a legacy.

"If he comes back and loses, so what? If he wins, then great."

A tweet posted by the online boxing editor at talkSPORT Michael Benson states that Vlitali has spoken to Wladimir about the potential three-fight offer and has said he’d only consider it if the offer was worth $100m.
