Amongst the two Champions League ties going on last night, you'd be forgiven for not paying much attention to a Championship clash between Bristol City and West Brom. The fixture at Ashton Gate was arguably just as exciting as those in Europe though, with the hosts holding out for a 3-2 win. Josh Brownhill, Andreas Weimann and Jack Hunt all scored within the first 20 minutes to give City a commanding lead. The Baggies hit back in the second half with goals from Dwight Gale and Jay Rodriguez setting up a nervy finish. A third strike was just out of reach for West Brom - but it was an exciting, nervy finish for all inside Ashton Gate.

And apparently, that excitement was too much for one unlucky fan.

During the second half, Sky Sports cameras panned to the away crowd and one poor individual was spotted making his way up the stairs.

By the looks of things, he should have been on his way to the toilet... but didn't make it there in time.

The footage appears to show the fan s******* himself on live TV. He was on his way to the loo, but after realising it was too late, turned around and quickly walked back down the stairs.

You can watch the unfortunate moment unfold in the clips below.

Talk about a s*** away day. Not only was this fan's embarrassment caught on live TV, but he then had to then suffer through the rest of a match that West Brom lost anyway.

It was certainly an important fixture to lose too. The Baggies, who currently occupy fourth place in the Championship, had a chance to pull 11 points clear of Bristol City in fifth.

Instead, The Robins closed the gap to just five points and also have a game in hand, meaning it's getting very tight in the playoff spots.
