With the FA Cup semi-finals now behind us, it means a full weekend of Premier League action is on the horizon and as we enter the final month of the season, it means we are sure to reach a dramatic climax.

These past few weeks have thrown up some twists and turns at both ends of the table, while the race for the top four is one that is almost too tight to call and no matter what the results this weekend, it will only heighten the drama further.

With that in mind, here are our latest set of red-hot Premier League tips.

FRIDAY APRIL 12

LEICESTER VS NEWCASTLE

The extended weekend’s action begins at the King Power Stadium, as Leicester play host to Newcastle and it is fair to say that the Foxes have undergone a period of rejuvenation under new manager Brendan Rodgers.

Since Rodgers swapped Glasgow for the East Midlands, he has won four of the five league games in which he has been in charge of and all of a sudden, a potential entry into next season’s Europa League looks a distinct possibility.

That run of positive results has coincided with a return to form for their talisman Jamie Vardy and he will be confident of continuing his hot streak in front of goal on Saturday. (GMB odds - Vardy to score 6/5)

SATURDAY APRIL 13

TOTTENHAM VS HUDDERSFIELD

Tottenham’s hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League were boosted after a much-welcomed win over Crystal Palace last week and they will look to build on that this Saturday, as already relegated Huddersfield are the next team to visit their new stadium.

Mauricio Pochettino and his men were in European action in midweek and although winning the Champions League is still a dream for the club, one way or another they need to make sure they are back in the competition next season.

They can increase their chances of a return to Europe’s premier club competition this weekend and should they get the better of the Terriers, it will only serve to add more pressure on their rivals. (GMB odds - Spurs to win 3-0 11/2)

SOUTHAMPTON VS WOLVES

Last Friday’s encounter saw Southampton give Liverpool something of a scare, as they took the lead through an early Shane Long goal. However, the title challengers' class shone through in the end and it would be Jurgen Klopp’s men who would leave St Mary’s with all three points.

This Saturday, Wolves will look to not only do the same but also bounce back from throwing away a 2-0 lead in last Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final – a game that they then subsequently lost in extra-time to Javi Gracia’s Watford.

Southampton don’t have any immediate relegation concerns but will still need a few more points on the board to assure survival and with Wolves being deflated after last week, this could be a game that sees honours even. (GMB odds - Draw 21/10)

FULHAM VS EVERTON

Fulham’s last league outing saw the overhanging threat of relegation finally become a reality when they lost to Watford at Vicarage Road and with them playing Championship football next season, it means their last five fixtures are nothing more than dead rubbers.

Something that will be music to the ears of Everton, who have not only won their last three league fixtures, but they’ve also all come against London-based opposition and that could prove to be a good omen going into Saturday’s clash at Craven Cottage.

That trio of wins have also catapulted Everton into the race for seventh place and the potential Europa League prize that comes with it, while another win this weekend will only increase their chances. (GMB odds - Everton win 10/13)

BRIGHTON VS BOURNEMOUTH

Brighton once again play host to south coast rivals and will be hoping for a better outcome than in their last home showing, a fixture that saw them lose to Southampton at The AMEX by a solitary goal.

This Saturday sees them play host to an out of sorts Bournemouth, who if you were to believe manager Eddie Howe are still a team that are not safe from relegation and when you consider they’ve won just one of their last nine league matches, he may just have a point.

At the same time, it could well have been a motivational ploy after the Cherries were well beaten by Burnley last weekend. Whichever way you look at it, the rot has set in and the Seagulls will look to soar. (GMB odds - Brighton win, both teams to score 33/10)

BURNLEY VS CARDIFF

Just when it looked like Burnley were going to be sucked into a relegation battle, Sean Dyche’s men picked up two hugely important wins and as a consequence they now find themselves eight points clear of Cardiff in 18th position.

With the two teams squaring off on Saturday at Turf Moor, they both know that the final outcome is going to have huge repercussions and if the Clarets pick up maximum points, they will all but assure themselves another stint in the top flight.

At the same time defeat for Cardiff, will mean that they are desperately running out of fixtures in which to make up ground on the likes of Southampton and Brighton. (GMB odds - Burnley win, under 2.5 goals 3/1)

MANCHESTER UNITED VS WEST HAM

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will no doubt be asking himself just how costly the recent Manchester United defeat to Wolves at Molineux will be and although the immediate impact was sorely felt, he and everyone else won’t know the answer until the end of the season.

That’s because the race for the top four is one that changes leaders with every given fixture round and United know that they will have to bounce back this Saturday when they play host to Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham.

Thankfully for the Red Devils, their visitors this weekend are largely toothless on the road and this will give Solskjaer and his players all the confidence that they need going into this one. (GMB odds - Man Utd win to zero 6/4)

SUNDAY APRIL 14

CRYSTAL PALACE VS MANCHESTER CITY

A huge day of title-chasing action is upon us on Sunday and Manchester City will be fully aware of the threat that Crystal Palace can provide. That’s because in this season’s reverse fixture, Roy Hodgson masterminded a sensational win at the Etihad.

However, it is not just revenge that is going to be on Pep Guardiola’s mind, there is also the small matter of trying to defend the Premier League title and what better way to crank up the pressure on Liverpool, than by winning their ninth league fixture in a row. (GMB odds - City win by two goals 11/5)

LIVERPOOL VS CHELSEA

The big clash of this Premier League weekend takes us to Anfield, as Liverpool play host to Chelsea and there is every chance that by the time we reach kick off, the Merseyside outfit will find themselves second in the table once again.

If that is to be the case, then they’ll know that nothing else but a win over the Blues will suffice and although they’ll go into this game as favourites, one cannot be too quick to discredit a Chelsea side who have won their last three league matches.

Not only that, but Maurizio Sarri’s men are looking to earn themselves a place in the top four and will be in no mood to roll over. (GMB odds - Liverpool 2-1 win 6/1) 

MONDAY APRIL 15

WATFORD VS ARSENAL

Watford have booked their first FA Cup final appearance in 35 years and what a way to do so, after their sensational comeback win over Wolves – a team that are also in the hunt to finish this Premier League season in seventh place.

If Manchester City win the final on May 18th it will mean that seventh place pays out a Europa League place and therefore Watford will look to that particular standing as something of an insurance policy.

Monday sees them go up against Arsenal side who have a propensity to stutter on the road and this was no more evident than against Everton in their last outing. (GMB odds - Draw 13/5)
