Kell Brook is one of the most well-known names in British boxing and has had a successful career in three different weight divisions.

He is, however, the holder of a record that nobody in the sport wants.

In 2009, Brook faced off against Michael Jennings.

'Special K' knocked his opponent out in the fifth in a dominant victory as he preserved his then 100% record.

From a commercial point of view, though, it was anything but successful.

In what was his first pay-per-view bout, access was only purchased a paultry 15,000 times, according to the official Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board (BARB) ratings, per World Boxing News.

This makes it the lowest selling PPV of all time in the United Kingdom.

Despite being a household name, it appears that the poor return has done him no favours from a PPV perspective.

Brook has consistently been overlooked for such fights, even though the four he has been involved in have been purchased almost one million times.

The other fights that featured on Box Office were against Frankie Gavin, Errol Spence Jr. and Gennady Golovkin.

In second place is another British boxing staple. With just 32,000 sales, Carl Froch's rematch with Mikkel Kessler did not garner the attention many had hoped for.

And even the biggest names in the history of the sport have not always been able to bring in the money. The great Muhammad Ali's second fight with Henry Cooper was bought just 40,000 times.

Unsurprisingly, in terms of the most sold PPV fights, Anthony Joshua dominates the top five. Three of his fights – against Wladimir Klitschko, Joshua Parker and Alexander Povetkin – have amassed over one millions buys each.

Also on the list is Floyd Mayweather against Manny Pacquiao, Klitschko versus David Haye and Mayweather against Ricky Hatton.

With Joshua in the prime of his career, he will more than likely remain on the best Box Office hits for years to come.
