WWE fans would have noticed that one of the biggest superstars in the company in AJ Styles wasn't on SmackDown Live this week.
Styles had wrestled just days prior at WrestleMania 35 and won his match against Randy Orton, but he did not make an appearance on WWE's blue brand on Tuesday.
Reports quickly emerged stating that The Phenomenal One had picked up a hip injury during his match vs The Viper, and it was unclear as to when he would compete again.
While recently streaming PUBG on Mixer, Styles gave WWE fans a much-needed update on his health status as he hasn't said much since WrestleMania.
The former WWE Champion said he sprained his SI joint during the top rope suplex spot in the match.

He said, via Pro Wrestling Sheet: “I sprained my SI (sacroiliac) joint. Nothing too severe. I just need the muscles to ease up and treat a sprain like a sprain. Hopefully, it doesn’t take too long to heal.
“I got x-rays and they were all positive, I didn’t break anything. So, as far as that looks, I should be good to go here soon.”
It's still unclear as to when we will see Styles in a WWE ring again having another match, but by the sound of things, he won't be sending too much time on the sidelines healing up from his WrestleMania injury.
Many fans at WrestleMania may not have been able to see The Phenomenal One pick up his injury due to being unable to see the majority of the match as a ring light was kept on blinding fans. Orton issued an apology on Monday on behalf of WWE.
Styles, meanwhile, has recently joked about the light on Twitter in response to a fan saying his match at The Showcase of Immortals wasn't entertaining.
With the Superstar Shake-up taking place next week as well, there's every good chance Styles may have wrestled his last match on SmackDown for a while if WWE decides to move him to Monday Night Raw.
