On Sunday 14th April the much anticipated FA Cup semi-final clash between Chelsea women's football team and Manchester City women will kick off at Man City. Viewers will be able to watch the match live on BBC Two at 15:30 BST.

This will be the seventh time these two rival clubs have met at the semi-final stage since 2014. Although I am sure both sides would rather be meeting in the final, this is set to be another enthralling match.

The other semi-final game is between Reading and West Ham and is also available to watch on BBC Red button and iPlayer, kick off 12:30 BST.

So how did the teams progress to the semi's? Well, Chelsea came up against non-WSL side Durham in the quarterfinals and had the difficult task of traveling away to a well organised and tough opponent. It took a while to break the deadlock and despite quite tenuous weather conditions, Chelsea managed to secure a 1-0 win through Ji So-Yun.

The other quarterfinal, saw Manchester City ease past Liverpool with a 3-0 win. Janine Beckie opening up the scoring within the first 45 mins followed in the second half by two Georgia Stanway goals.

Currently, the title race is between Arsenal women and Man City, just one point separates the two sides at the top with Arsenal having a game in hand. However, Man City are still on course for a potential treble, having already secured the continental cup. The stage is set...will Man City go the distance? Or, will Chelsea upset their path to the final and their treble hopes? Everyone will just have to tune in on Sunday to find out!
