The biggest news coming out of WWE this week has been the future of Sasha Banks. It's been widely reported in recent days that Banks wanted to leave WWE after herself and Bayley lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania to The IIconics. It was a last minute decision by the company to place the belts on the Aussie duo, with Bayley taking the pinfall after a second rope Glam Slam from Beth Phoenix before Billie Kay scored the decisive fall.Earlier in the week Banks pulled out of an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show due to personal reasons, and we can now safely assume that it's due to her position within the company.WWE are hoping Banks can reconsider her decision but it does seem very similar to the position The Revival were in not too long ago, where it was reported they were unhappy.Weeks later they won the Raw Tag Team titles, but have since dropped them to Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder.Interestingly Banks' husband, former wrestler and now WWE costume designer Mikaze, tweeted out a statement yesterday which stated 'There comes a point in time where passion and pleasure intersect with business and finances', hinting at Banks' current issues.

A tweet posted by Pro Wrestling Sheet writer Ryan Satin has prompted even further speculation as to where Banks' future may lie.

Satin has stated that following their loss at 'Mania on Sunday, both The Boss and Bayley led on the floor of the locker room in dismay at the match, and when they returned to the superstar hotel following the event, they were both very vocal to other people about the decision to take the titles off them.

Not only this but Banks also unfollowed WWE on Twitter and began following All Elite Wrestling - although this seems like a slight grab for attention rather than advertising her services.

There's clearly a lot more twists and turns to come in this story, there's a chance Banks may not revert on her stance.

If that's the case it would be a remarkable shame for the WWE to lose someone so talented at their craft - but sometimes there's only so much a superstar can take.
