Liverpool are top of the Premier League with just four matches remaining and could end up with 97 points. And yet they could be pipped to the title by Manchester City, despite only losing once in the league all season. It would be incredibly cruel on Jurgen Klopp’s side.Even if Liverpool aren’t able to overcome City, they can look back on this season with an immense amount of pride.Under Klopp, the future appears very promising indeed.

Challenging for league titles - and with one foot in the Champions League semi-finals once again - Liverpool should be able to attract top-class talent in the summer.

And they could receive a financial boost ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Next season will be their last under their current £45 million-per-year deal with New Balance and reports suggest the club are in talks with Nike over a contract worth in excess of £75 million-per-year.

But New Balance are looking to end their deal with Liverpool in style, it seems.

That’s because Liverpool’s shirt for the 2019/20 campaign has been leaked online by Footy Headlines.

Footy Headlines have a strong reputation for publishing images of new kits before anyone else and they’re claiming this is an “exclusive look at the Liverpool 19-20 home kit by New Balance.”

The report states that “Liverpool's 2019-20 home jersey features a brighter shade of red than the previous one, while gold is once again used for the NB and LFC logos on the chest. The Western Union sponsor patch on the left sleeve of the Liverpool 19-20 kit is also gold, whilst the Standard Chartered print is white.”

As always, red shorts and socks will complete the kit.

It’s also believed that it may be used on the final day of the season, a home clash against Wolves in which Liverpool could lift their first ever Premier League title.

If that's the case, it could be the best-selling Liverpool shirt in history!
