It all started in 2017 at a hotel in Birmingham, Alabama.

Deontay Wilder and Dominic Breazeale were involved in an altercation in which the latter claims the Bronze Bomber and his entourage attacked him in front of his wife at the Westin Birmingham hotel.

During Wilder’s fight with Gerald Washington, the undercard fighter supposedly had a confrontation with Wilder's younger brother Marsellos at ringside.

The ‘beef’ had not stopped there and has continued for the past two years.

The two have already been involved in heated Q&A sessions and fierce face-offs. All of these prior events have led to the upcoming fight being a very, very personal battle between the two.

The talk between the two has been entertaining, but verging on unnecessary. Family members have been supposedly mentioned by both camps.

In a Q&A, Breazeale claimed that his own sister would knock Wilder down with a punch to the back of the head.

Now, Wilder and his team have made claims that Breazeale made a remark pertaining to Wilder's disabled daughter.

All of this, and more, has made this an indefinite grudge match between the two fighters, who have both made swift claims that they will be knocking the other out and onto the canvas.

Wilder, more recently, has gone into further detail about the “business” he will carry out in the fight and how he will show no remorse for his opponent… even if he were to die during the fight.

"Not one bit of remorse," Wilder said to Daily Mail, per Boxing Scene. "Because this is boxing. This is what we do. This is what we sign up for.

"People on the outside will never understand this sport. They will never understand what we have to go through, break our body down. We are fighting for our lives in the ring anyway. Anything can happen. Your head is not meant to be hit in the first place. One little tap can end it all.

"You talk about me killing the guy? If it happens, it happens. When you are dealing with a situation like this and it's personal, I don't mean well for him, nor do he mean well for me. So, I speak truth.

"That's why people love me till this day. Because I speak facts, I speak truth. I'm a realist and I speak how it is. I'm going to handle my business in the ring accordingly, I promise you that.

"I'm not taking Breazeale easy. I'm taking him as if he were a champion. That's how serious I'm taking this. He's going to be the guinea pig in this experiment. I don't like him. At all. What he's done is unacceptable and I can't wait for this fight. I mean business. Trust me."

Wilder will defend his title against Breazeale on May 18 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
