It's fair to say that despite Unai Emery improving Arsenal since his appointment in the summer of last year, many fans still think that the club should carry out a squad overhaul.

Despite turning the Emirates into a fortress this season, the Gunners' away form has been nothing short of abysmal.

Arsenal have failed to keep a clean sheet away from home all season, putting them below even Huddersfield and Fulham in that stat.

Due to the cost of their stadium, Arsenal have had to be very tight during the transfer market in recent years, meaning very few big names to speak of have joined the club - Mesut Ozil, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette being obvious exceptions.

The club are letting Aaron Ramsey go on a free transfer to Juventus, leaving a gaping hole in the centre of the park, which has only infuriated fans further.

One man who Arsenal can only dream of signing, Antoine Griezmann, has chosen the North London side as his club to manage on Football Manager 2019.

The Frenchman's side certainly would do some damage on the European stage, and also reaffirms the fact that Arsenal's current side does not have the star power to compete at the highest level.

Alexandre Lacazette is the only current Arsenal player to survive the axe in Griezmann's starting XI, in which the 27-year-old leads the line in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Everton and England's number one Jordan Pickford is a surprise acquisition between the sticks, with an unlikely centre back pairing of Golden Boy award winner Matthijs de Ligt and Bournemouth's back-up centre back Chris Mepham.

Porto's Alex Telles and Napoli's Kevin Malcuit provide width across the back four in the Atletico Madrid striker's team, along with protection in defensive midfield from Sporting's Bruno Fernandes and Ajax wonderkid Frenkie de Jong.

Griezmann's attacking three behind Lacazette is bursting with pace, as PSV's Hirving Lozano and Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey line up either side of Juventus target Joao Felix.

Sokratis is the sole original Gunner to hold a place on the bench, with Andrew Robertson, Anderlecht's Alexis Saelemaekers, Ajax's Ryan Gravenberch, Boca Juniors' Cristian Pavon and RB Leipzig's Timo Werner completing the list of substitutes.

A plethora of promising talent to sign, if you're a fan of the game.
