Part of the appeal when it comes to FIFA isn’t just the ability to play with your favourite club on Career Mode, or to build the greatest squad on Ultimate Squad.

It’s the music.

Over the years, the game has featured so many bangers. Many of them are hidden gems as well, making them all the better.

It seems that EA Sports place a great deal of importance in making sure that the soundtrack to each game is impressive, which heightens the experience whenever the games come out.

Indeed, when the soundtrack for FIFA 19 was announced, EA Sports claimed: “The largest sports videogame franchise in the world also has the most influential global soundtrack series in video game history.”

FIFA 19 featured tracks from Childish Gambino, Gorillaz and Logic and over the years, many great artists have been included in the game.

Kasabian, Robbie Williams, The Streets, Dizzee Rascal…

Fans of a certain age will miss the sounds of the previous games, particular from the late 90s to early-2010s, but EA promised “bolder” songs with FIFA 19.

“When the goal is to deliver a truly international soundtrack that reflects the World's Game, you have to rewrite the rules with every new release,” they wrote.

“For FIFA 19, the choices are bolder and the vibe is stronger.

“Just like the game itself, the excitement around the soundtrack is always unpredictable, unprecedented, and 100% undeniably FIFA.”

With Sam Sparro’s ‘Black & Gold’, ‘Kids’ by MGMT and The Hoosiers’ ‘Goodbye Mr A’ all included, we’ve got our music sorted for the next few weeks.
