Barnet could include Glenn Poole in their starting line-up for the New Year's Day clash with Aldershot.

Winger Poole was on the bench during the Bees` 3-1 home defeat to Stockport after recovering from an ankle injury.

Midfielder Mark Byrne (knee), striker Danny Kelly (hamstring) and defenders Daniel Leach and Darren Dennehy (both foot) remain sidelined and will not feature as manager Mark Stimson attempts to guide his team out of the relegation zone.

Forward Izale McLeod recovered from stiff muscles in time to score against Stockport and will continue alongside striker Steve Kabba, who has four league goals this season.

Jake Cole has been ever present in goal for the Bees and should continue despite only keeping four clean sheets in the league this season.

Aldershot captain Anthony Charles will return as Kevin Dillon`s men finally return to action.

Central defender Charles has been out of action since pulling his hamstring at the start of November but was fit to play over the festive period only to see a run of games postponed.

Left-back Jamie Vincent will miss out, however, as he serves a suspension.

Vincent was sent-off at Rotherham last time out on December 11 and is beginning a two-match ban so Anthony Straker will fill in.

Long-term absentees John Halls and Damian Spencer remain out with injuries. Transfer-listed midfielder Halls has been plagued by a groin injury for the last year or so and is still not fit, while former Cheltenham striker Spencer has a knee injury.
