How ridiculous was Manchester City’s second leg with Tottenham at the Eithad last night?Pep Guardiola’s side beat Spurs 4-3 but crashed out of the tournament on away goals. But that doesn’t even begin the describe the drama. It was 2-2 after 11 minutes and 3-2 to City after 21 minutes.Sergio Aguero put the home side ahead in the tie but then came the deciding goal from Fernando Llorente.

Llorente scored past Ederson with his hip, with the ball brushing his arm ever so slightly in the process.

The goal stood.

But Raheem Sterling’s injury-time goal didn’t stand after Aguero was offside in the build-up.

And that was that.

Who saw that coming?

Well, one Spurs fan made a pretty outlandish prediction at half-time.

Remember, Mauricio Pochettino’s side were trailing 3-2 at the time and were still going through on away goals.

But Twitter user @Migatron81 not only guessed that City would score the next goal before Llorente would send them through to the semi-finals, but he also predicted that the Spaniard would score with his hip!

No, really.

He wrote: "Just want to let you guys know that when Spurs inevitably concede a goal to City and Fernando Llorente sends us to the Semis with the most garbage goal off his hip, I will be starting a cult in his honor. That’s is all."

That’s just outrageous.

True to his word, he has started a Llorente ‘cult’ in his honour.

He set up a Twitter account called: “The Church of Llorente” after the former Swansea striker scored the all-important goal with his hip to send Spurs through to the last four.

Wonder what his prediction is for Saturday’s Premier League clash between the two sides…
