Deontay Wilder has announced that the fight with fellow heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua is going to be "inevitable" to find the undisputed champion.

The news on Wednesday that Jarrell Miller had recorded an "adverse sample" before his June 1 match-up with Joshua has once again thrown the division into chaos.

The already confusing heavyweight picture was further muddied by the result and will mean that AJ will now have to find himself a different opponent for his next bout.

The Brooklyn-based boxer Miller has now been suspended by the New York State Athletic Commission and it is rumoured that he will be replaced by Dillian Whyte as Joshua's next opponent.

Joshua and Whyte have a history together ever since their first match-up ended in defeat for the latter in December of 2015.

Whyte has confirmed already since Wednesday that he is ready to fight AJ at "the drop of a hat", but it's looking that Luis Ortiz is the preferred choice on Team Joshua.

The big fight the division is waiting for, however, is Wilder against Joshua.

"Believe me, this fight is going to happen," Wilder told fans and media at his camp in Alabama, as per Sky Sports.

"There will come a day, a day real soon, when there can only be one.

"The heavyweight division belongs to me and I've known that for a very long time now, but I'm not satisfied with what I've achieved so far.

"I want every single belt, I want to be the undisputed champion, and I want the day to come when there can only be one king and that man will be Deontay Wilder."

It seems destiny that the two fighters may be finally on course for each other in the coming future following the announcement by Miller.

With all five belts on the line, providing Wilder doesn't lose to Dominic Breazeale this summer, the fight between him and Joshua could be one of the most important in history.

And we can't wait.
