While it's yet to be officially announced, it's still no secret that United States Champion Samoa Joe is set to make his move to Monday Night RAW next week.

The eventual move comes as part of the annual Superstar Shake-Up. Big names like AJ Styles and Roman Reigns switched brands, while Finn Balor brought the Intercontinental Championship to SmackDown LIVE.

SHAKE-UP

As expected, the championship moving brand meant whoever was holding the United States Championship would also switch shows.

It has been revealed that Samoa Joe was ill earlier this week and was unable to appear on RAW. However, the move is set to be official once the former NXT Champion has been given the all-clear to come back.

Now, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has revealed the feud WWE has lined up for Joe back on the red brand will be against Braun Strowman.

The WWE already planted the seeds for this feud on April 9, ahead of the Shake-Up.

Joe interrupted R-Truth and Carmella before The Monster Among Men made his presence be known on the blue brand for one night. 

It's now thought that the two will continue on from that on RAW, with the United States Championship as the ultimate prize.

After several attempts at capturing gold, this would perhaps be Strowman's best opportunity at finally capturing gold in the WWE.

THE MONSTER AMONG MEN

He's already faced off against the likes of Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship but has come up short on several occasions.

Should the feud go ahead as planned, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Strowman finally capture a title many believe he deserves.

Strowman has had the best of months recently in WWE.

It was widely assumed that he'd capture the Universal Championship on RAW, especially during a time where Roman Reigns was unable to compete.

An injury impacted his momentum and rather than featuring in a starring, main event role at WrestleMania 35 - he instead competed in the pre-show where he won the Andrew the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

If things go his way this time around, we might finally see the former Wyatt Family member capture championship gold.
