Romelu Lukaku has been decent, but not spectacular since joining Manchester United.

The Belgian striker joined for £75 million in 2017 and went on to score 27 times in 51 games in his first season.

While that was a decent campaign, more was expected from him in his second season.

But he's struggled even more this term.

Lukaku had a good World Cup, scoring four times as Belgium finished in third place.

However, he was criticised for putting on two much muscle upon his return to United, and he was also ridiculed for his first touch.

Lukaku was able to put those problems behind him and has improved under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but he's still on the periphery of the first XI.

Solskjaer has recently spoken about how he is going to dramatically overhaul his side.

And, it appears that the Norwegian manager believes that Lukaku is expendable.

The Telegraph have reported that United are willing to listen to offers for Romelu Lukaku this summer.

There are doubts over whether his playing style fits with the tactics Solskjaer wants to implement.

Lukaku is also said to be open to a move away from Old Trafford.

The Belgian striker spoke of his desire to play in Serie A back in October, while his agent hinted he could leave for Italy earlier this month.

The report adds that Inter Milan, Paris St-Germain and Bayern Munich are among the clubs who are interested in the striker.

So it seems Lukaku's two-year stay at United may be about to come to an end.

He has performed fairly well, he's scored 42 times in 93 games, but more was still expected of him given his transfer fee.

It's not known how much money Man United are looking for but they are willing to let him go if an acceptable bid is made.

The report adds that United are also willing to listen to offers for Alexis Sanchez, but finding a suitor which is willing to take on his £500,000-per-week wages is going to be tough.

Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata are among others that are likely or expected to leave the club.
