Jarrell Miller has finally broken his silence after posting an emotional video on Instagram in the wake of the news that he has failed no less than three drug tests recently.
The heavyweight’s highly anticipated bout with Anthony Joshua has been cancelled and Miller’s future in the sport is now far from certain.
Miller initially denied taking a banned substance after testing positive for GW 1516 on Wednesday but it has since been revealed that he failed a further two tests for banned substances.
Now, Miller has taken to social media platform Instagram to apologise to his fans and explain his current mood.
“I messed up. I messed up, I made a bad call," he said.
“There’s a lot of ways to handle a situation, I handled it wrong and I’m paying the price for it.
“I missed a big opportunity and I’m hurting on the inside. My heart is bleeding right now. I’ve hurt my family, my friends, my team, my supporters.
“But I’mma own up to it, I’mma deal with it, I’mma correct it and I’mma come back better.
“I’m humbled by the experience to understand how to handle certain things. I’mma leave it at that.”
Miller’s fall from grace on the brink of what promised to be the biggest fight of his career has captured the headlines in the boxing world, with experts and fellow athletes alike reacting to the disappointing news.
However, heavyweight colleague Dillian Whyte has nailed his colours to the mast expressing very little sympathy for Miller in a ruthless comment posted in reply to the video on instagram.
Whyte was short and concise in saying: “U are just a fat sh**."
Blimey - no holding back then, Dillian.
Whyte’s brutal comment probably represents the general feeling of the boxing world towards Miller right now though, and you can be sure that Miller has a long road back ahead of him.News Now - Sport News
