Manchester City got revenge on Tottenham Hotspur as they emerged 1-0 winners in their Premier League game on Saturday afternoon.Phil Foden was given just his second Premier League start and he repaid Pep Guardiola's faith after just five minutes.Bernardo Silva clipped a lovely ball into the box, Sergio Aguero headed the ball across goal and Foden wa on hand to head into the empty net.He became the first player born in the 2000s to score a Premier League goal for the club.Tottenham fought back though and could have restored parity on numerous occasions in the first half. But they could not find a way past Ederson and City held on to a valuable three points. While Foden scored the all important goal, it was Silva who was given the Man of the Match award. The two players conducted their post-match interview on Sky Sports. However, when it was announced Silva had been given the Man of the Match award, he declined it and passed it on to Foden.Watch it below:

"I'd like to hand it over to Phil because I honestly think he deserves it," Silva said. "He's a fantastic player so this one is for you. He scored the winner so congratulations."

Pure class from Silva.

The three points takes Manchester City above Liverpool once again.

However, while Guardiola will be happy with the three points, his side did suffer a massive blow in the race for the Premier League title.

Kevin de Bruyne has been fantastic for Man City in the past few weeks but he went off with a knee injury in the first half.

It seems likely that the Belgian midfielder will be out for the rest of the season but Guardiola confirmed after the game that he didn't know the extent of his injury.

"I didn't speak with him or the doctors but it's a muscular injury," he said of De Bruyne, per Mancheter City's official Twitter account.

"I don't know how big the impact is.

"We will see tomorrow but I think the next game he will be out."
