Arsenal are chasing a top-four finish to ensure Champions League football next season. So when they went 1-0 down at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday, there were a few nervous fans inside Emirates Stadium. It was Christian Benteke who gave the visitors the lead, heading in from close range in the first half. Palace actually went into the break with the lead, but it took Mesut Ozil just a couple of minutes to level things after the restart - and he did so in style. The midfielder scored another of his trademark 'bounce' goals to equalise.

From a tight angle just yards from goal, Ozil kicked the ball into the group and watched it fly over Vicente Guaita in the Palace net. Check it out below.

Talk about cheeky. There's no one else in the Premier League who would even think about trying that - especially if his side were 1-0 down.

Despite getting his team level, Ozil could only watch as Wilfred Zaha put the visitors back in front a few minutes later.

The forward had been booed by home fans all afternoon but made his mark on the London derby as he got goalside of Shkodran Mustafi before sweeping a shot into the net.

Things got even worse for Arsenal as James McArthur made it 3-1 to Palace with 20 minutes to play. He was in the right place at the right time to divert a close-range header past Bernd Leno.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did give the Gunners a lifeline with 13 minutes to play as he brought the game back to 3-2.

The striker started his run from the halfway line before misplacing a one-two pass off a Palace defender and firing a shot into the bottom corner.

It wasn't enough though as Arsenal suffered a shock 3-2 defeat which saw their top four hopes dented.
