Crystal Palace were able to pull off a shock on Sunday afternoon after defeating Arsenal 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium.Arsenal had won 14 of their 17 home games in the Premier League prior to yesterday's game. They were the overwhelming favourites to win and take a huge step to a top four finish. However, Unai Emery' side went into the break 1-0 down, with Christian Benteke scoring the only goal of the first half.Mesut Ozil restored parity, but two goals in eight minutes from Wilfried Zaha and James McArthur gave the away side a 3-1 lead.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang cut their advantage with 13 minutes remaining but Palace held on to secure a shock three points.

The 'Drake curse' has become a real thing in the past few weeks.

A weird as it sounds, whenever a footballer takes a picture with Canadian rapper Drake, their team seems to lose the game after.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Jadon Sancho, Sergio Aguero and Layvin Kurzawa have all fallen to the curse recently.

But Crystal Palace have now claimed that the curse is a 'myth'.

Following their victory against Arsenal, they posted an image of Zaha with Drake, accompanied with the caption: 'It's a myth'.

But have they really exposed that the 'Drake curse' is in fact a myth?

Zaha posted the image on his Twitter account on April 9.

They played five days later, against Manchester City.

And, of course, they fell to a 3-1 defeat.

While Palace claim to have debunked the myth, it appears that the curse is still undefeated... for now.

While Zaha is Palace's star player, he hinted in an interview last week that he will have to leave for Champions League football.

"For me to be better, to achieve what I know I am capable of, I have to aim to play at the very highest level, to win trophies," he told the Daily Mail. "I'm blessed to have come this far in my playing career.

"But I feel like there is so much more I have to offer.

"I have to experience the Champions League. I just need the opportunity, that's it. And I'll do the rest."
