Manchester United were very disappointing in their 4-0 defeat to Everton on Sunday afternoon.

The Toffies scored twice in the first half through Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson, before Lucas Digne and Theo Walcott wrapped the game up after the break.

Defeat at Goodison Park was Man United's sixth in their last eight games and fans are now growing tired of their underperforming stars.

But, according to the Daily Mail, the players are also upset with their recent run of form and tempers boiled over in the away dressing room after Sunday's loss.

The report suggests that United are a club in 'meltdown' as angry teammates argued with each other following humiliation against Everton.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer kept his side in the dressing room for an hour before coming out to make an apology to the fans and after he left, fingers were pointed amongst those left in the room.

According to the Mail, the players started blaming each other during a heated exchange and their raised voices 'could be heard from the corridor outside as they argued among themselves'.

That's certainly not what United fans will want to read, especially at a pivotal point in the season.

And the inquest continued at training on Monday as the team returned to their Carrington complex.

There was another hour-long meeting as the squad were made to sit through video analysis of their capitulation.

The Mail's report goes on to state that Solskjaer and his backroom staff were so angry at the performance that even the team chef gave the players a piece of his mind!

It's starting to sound quite similar to the atmosphere that dominated during Jose Mourinho's last weeks at the club.

And with the transfer window just around the corner, it could be a summer of change at Man United to sort things out once and for all.
