The Premier League concludes in just two weeks and it's been one of the tightest seasons in the history of the competition.

At the top of the table, Liverpool and Manchester City are battling to win the title.

The Reds are currently first with 88 points and three games to play, while City are just behind with 86 points - but they have a game in hand against Manchester United on Wednesday.

It's not just the top two teams that are close - the battle for the top four places is even more intense.

At the moment, Tottenham sit third while Chelsea are fourth - but the Blues have played an extra game.

Only six points separate third and sixth, meaning Arsenal and United are also in the hunt for a Champions League place.

At the bottom of the table, Burnley, Cardiff, Brighton and Southampton all risk relegation to the Championship - with Huddersfield and Fulham already down.

It's been so close at both ends of the table this season that just one goal could be the difference between winning the title, qualifying for the Champions League or avoiding relegation.

With that in mind, no team would want a wasteful player in their starting XI, but judging by stats from this season, there have been quite a few guilty of missing opportunities in front of goal.

Below is a ranking of the players who have missed the most 'big chances' this season - and it's a list that none of them want to be on.

As you can see, Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is top, having missed 20 'big chances' over the course of this campaign.

In second is Bournemouth's Callum Wilson, who's missed 18 and just behind him is Man City's Gabriel Jesus, who's guilty of 17 blunders in front of goal.

Other interesting names on the list include Alvaro Morata - who managed to blow 10 chances in just half a season and Romelu Lukaku, who's been struggling of late.

There's no doubt some of these players could end up ruing these missed opportunities should their club's miss out on the title, a top four spot or are resigned to relegation.
