Ahead of Tyson Fury's heavyweight clash with Tom Schwarz, the Gypsy King will be using renowned trainer Freddie Roach's gym in the lead up to the bout.

This won't be the first time that both Fury and Roach have teamed up ahead of a fight, with the 30-year-old opting to use the trainer's gym before taking on Deontay Wilder last December.

Roach then joined Fury's corner for the fight at the Staples Center and sat beside Ricky Hatton and Ben Davison.

Despite his association with Fury, when asked for his thoughts on the current heavyweight scene, the well-respected trainer admitted he actually thinks Anthony Joshua is the best around today.

“Joshua, I like a lot,” Roach said, per The Mirror.

“He’s my favourite heavyweight.

“He was very modest when I met him. I like him a lot. He’s the best heavyweight in the world, ahead of Wilder and Fury.

“On Fury, I would say to Joshua: Don’t take him lightly, because he can fight. He can fight.”

Joshua and Fury are yet to meet in the ring as of yet, however, fans across the world have been hoping to witness a showdown for years, while a fight v Wilder for the undisputed world heavyweight title has also been on the cards for some time.

Considering their relationship, Roach has stated he is happy to work with the Gypsy King once again as he prepares for his next fight against Schwarz in Las Vegas on June 15.

“Tyson has asked me if he can come over and use my gym again and that’s all he has asked so far,” Roach said.

He continues: “I like him, he’s a good guy and I’m sure he will take me out for another steak dinner.

“I don’t think Tyson will struggle for motivation, he is up against a guy who is 24-0 and has never been beaten.

“This is a real, good fight. He has fought better guys along the way, but you cannot take guys lightly because that is when mistakes happen.”
