To say Jadon Sancho has had a productive season in Germany with Borussia Dortmund in 2018/19 would be one of the biggest understatements of the year.He has gone from raw academy product at Manchester City to one of the world's finest young players in less than 12 months. The 18-year-old is already being linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United after his stunning debut campaign in Germany.Prior to the big city derby versus Schalke today, Sancho was sitting level with Lionel Messi and Pablo Sarabia in the European assist charts with 13.But he quickly made sure he went to the top for at least a few hours with a magical assist for Mario Gotze to open the scoring in the first 15 minutes.

Dortmund's attack appeared to be dying down, but Sancho somehow managed to provide a perfect dinked ball over the Schalke defence for Gotze to head home.

SANCHO'S MAGIC

However, while celebrating the goal, the cameras picked up an object being thrown at Sancho from the crowd, which struck the Englishman in the face.

The derby with Schalke is always a feisty affair, but this kind of behaviour is simply not acceptable at any football ground.
