Luis Suarez's baby son bit his dad's shoulder in the celebrations after Barcelona title win

FC Barcelona v Levante UD - La Liga

Barcelona confirmed the inevitable on Saturday as they were crowned La Liga champions courtesy of a 1-0 victory over Levante.

Lionel Messi started on the bench, Ernesto Valverde evidently mindful of the Blaugrana's upcoming Champions League semi-final against Liverpool.

However, with his team-mates looking uninspired, the Argentine was introduced at half-time and lo and behold, went on to score the winner with his 34th league goal of the season.

It meant that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was on the pitch for the celebrations at full-time, just the way it should be.

But as the players gathered with their families on the pitch, it was Luis Suarez - or rather his baby - who caught the eye.

The striker's youngest son Lautaro was pictured biting his dad's shoulder - now where can he possibly have got that from?

The six-month old infant can have had little idea about that famous incident with Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup - or the other two in his father's career, following nibbles on Otman Bakkal and Branislav Ivanovic.

It was a brilliant moment nonetheless.

After a blank against Levante, who did well to frustrate Barcelona for large periods of play, Suarez will be looking to get back on the scoresheet against former club Liverpool on Wednesday night.

"In the build up to the game it's nice to talk about how massively grateful I am to Liverpool for all they gave me but, you know me, once I'm on the pitch there will be no friendships, no companions, no thought for all the lovely moments," he said, per the Daily Mail.

"I'll defend the colours of Barcelona with all the pride in the world."

Liverpool may have enjoyed an extra 24 hours rest after their emphatic win over Huddersfield on Friday evening, but Barca have the added advantage of having already wrapped up the title as they go in search of their first Champions League triumph since 2015.
