British heavyweight boxer Daniel Dubois managed to continue his undefeated streak with a fourth round win over Richard Lartey at Wembley Arena in London on Saturday. The victory this weekend takes his total tally to 11 wins in as many fights, 10 of which have been knockout wins. The contest lasted close to two minutes in round 4 when Dubois sent his Ghanaian counterpart to the canvas with a powerful right hand. Referee Bob Williams had no other choice but to end the bout, there and then. But, one moment during the fight did not eclipse the attention of the boxing faithful that quickly became the highlight of the showcase event. It happened in the third round with 1:30 still on the clock.

The duo exchanged blows from the onset of round 3 and the match official had to intervene midway to separate the pair. He even warned Lartey for keeping hold of Dubois even after he was told him to let go.

Right after the very instance, Lartey upped the ante, going all in with combination punches which had the Brit under pressure.

However, Dubois retaliated with counter punches while the crowd inside the London stadium cheered them on.

The 21-year-old is set to face Joe Joyce next, which was already confirmed by the British Boxing Board of Control earlier last week.

Joyce, who is also represented by legendary promoter Frank Warren, like Dubois, was present at ringside to witness the action.

It is expected that Warren will make the official announcement during a press conference next week, with July 13 as the date for the all-British showdown at the O2 Arena.
