Barnet begin life without axed boss Mark Stimson with a trip to Stevenage.
Stimson took the unorthodox step of discussing his dismissal in his post-match interview, following a 2-1 home defeat to Aldershot.
The former Gillingham boss said: "Whoever takes over will be getting an honest bunch of players. The chairman made the decision and I`m gutted but I have to accept it."
Paul Fairclough will take temporary charge of the first team as they continue their attempts to escape the drop zone.
Midfielder Mark Byrne (knee), striker Danny Kelly (hamstring) and defenders Daniel Leach and Darren Dennehy (both foot) remain sidelined and will not feature.
Striker Izale McLeod made a full recovery from stiff muscles to score a consolation goal against the Shots and will continue alongside Steve Kabba.
Joel Byrom could make his first appearance in over four months for Stevenage, with boss Graham Westley boasting no new injury or suspension problems.
Byrom has been laid low for most of the season thanks to an eye and then foot problem he but made his return in the 1-0 New Year`s Day defeat at Gillingham as an unused substitute.
The 24-year-old will now be hoping the extra two days will be enough time to convince boss Westley to give him some time on the pitch.
Defender Darius Charles sits out the second game of a three-match ban but Darren Murphy (ankle) and Lee Boylan (calf) could return to the squad after narrowly missing out against Gills.
