Marcelo Bielsa has, unsurprisingly, made plenty of headlines during his debut season in England. The revered Argentine coach, who took the Leeds United job last summer, is as eccentric as they come - but also gets his teams playing some wonderful attacking football, before they inevitably crash and burn at the end of the season through exhaustion.Leeds produced some magnificent football during the first half of the 2018-19 campaign under Bielsa and led the way at the top of the table up until February before falling away.A month earlier, Bielsa admitted sending a member of staff to spy on a Derby County training session.Leeds were subsequently slapped with a £200,000 fine after the Football League carried out an unprecedented investigation demanded by 11 rival clubs.

Bielsa continued as manager but was unable to help the club secure automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Norwich City and Sheffield United sealed first and second place respectively over the weekend.

Bielsa, meanwhile, was involved in another controversial incident on Sunday afternoon when he allowed Aston Villa to score a goal.

Believing Mateusz Klich’s goal was unjust, Bielsa instructed his team to allow Albert Adomah to put the ball into the Leeds net.

It was a remarkable act of sportsmanship - and one that was praised by former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger on beIN Sports.

Leeds’ 1-1 draw means they will compete for the third remaining promotion spot via the Championship play-offs.

They end their campaign away at relegated Ipswich Town next weekend.

This gives Bielsa enough time to learn how to pronounce the tricky word ‘Ipswich’.

The South American, who currently communicates through a translator, tried his best to say the word during his post-match press conference on Sunday afternoon but came up short.

'Is-pitch?'

'I... Ip-swit'

'Okay, I give up!'

Fair play for giving it a good go, Marcelo!

It’s not the easiest word to pronounce for a non-English speaker.

Bielsa’s decision to give up amused all the journalists in the Elland Road press room, while the clip had gone viral on social media.
