Just two games remain of the 2018/19 Premier League season - and there's a lot to play for.

Manchester City are currently top of the table and one point above Liverpool, who will be praying the reigning champions drop points against Leicester City or Brighton.

Liverpool face Newcastle and Wolves in their last two games and they're expected to win both, so there's a good chance they'll end up on 97 points but still finish second.

It's all happening below the top two as well.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United are in contention for the other two Champions League places, but they've all been terrible recently.

In their last three games - 12 games in total - they've won a grand total of six points. In the same time, City and Liverpool have won 18 points between them.

Spurs lost their game at home to West Ham over the weekend but they're third and four points above Arsenal in fifth, so they look safe.

Chelsea currently occupy fourth but they're only two points above Arsenal. Anything could still happen there.

As for United - well, they're three points below Chelsea and have an inferior goal difference. They need a miracle to finish fourth.

The Red Devils' record against the rest of the top six this season is awful and the below table of the 'top six mini-league' shows that.

After Sunday's 1-1 draw with Chelsea, which was the last fixture between the top six, United have only earned seven points from a possible 30.

If you've been able to follow each and every individual result between the top six this season then the table won't surprise you, but Arsenal finishing third is a shock.

It's the Gunners' away form against sides below them that's let them down recently; they've lost to Everton (away), Crystal Palace (home), Wolves (away) and Leicester (away) in April alone.

Meanwhile, Spurs have been just as bad as United by losing seven out of 10 games. The only reason they're not bottom is because of their 'superior' goal difference.

And at the top, City have been utterly dominant against the rest of the top six, while Liverpool will be kicking themselves for drawing away to Arsenal and United.
