It's crazy to think that the Money In The Bank match concept has been going for 14 years now.

First seen at WrestleMania 21, the bout became so popular that it became its own pay-per-view in 2010, and expanded to include a women's briefcase in 2017.

Not everyone is a fan of gimmick events such as MITB, Hell In A Cell or Extreme Rules, but Money In The Bank has seem some fantastic matches over the years, including the 2011 five-star classic between CM Punk and John Cena.

Last year saw Alexa Bliss capture the women's contract and cash it in on the very same night to win the Raw Women's Championship - but the men's winner was less successful.

Braun Strowman would become 'Mr. Monster In The Bank' but would give up his contract to fight Roman Reigns in a Hell In A Cell match for the Universal Championship a few months later, a match that finished a no contest.

Fair to say the last two men's winners have been wasted, as 2017's victor Baron Corbin also lost his shot in frustrating circumstances, after being rolled-up by Jinder Mahal on an episode of SmackDown.

So let's hope the winner gets treated a lot better this year, and Raw have certainly stacked their half of the match up with some real talent.

Former winners Strowman and Corbin take up two of the places, with a lot of people's favourite for the match, Drew McIntyre, also spearheading a strong red brand assault on the briefcase.

The final man from Raw sees a true aerial presence as Ricochet continues his huge rise with a place in the main event match, and he certainly got a strong ovation from his home state crowd in Kentucky.

Since the Superstar Shake-up was completed, Raw's women's division has looked pretty thread-bare, especially with the departure of Ronda Rousey and the issues with Sasha Banks.

Whilst the foursome of Bliss, Natalya, Naomi and Dana Brooke isn't the worst line-up you'll see, SmackDown will arguably bring a stronger bunch to the table.

And if many people's favourite for the men's is McIntyre, you could see any one of SmackDown's female roster, such as Bayley, Asuka, or Ember Moon, becoming Mrs. Money In The Bank.
