Tyson Fury has told Eddie Hearn to put his dad 'back in the cupboard' after Barry Hearn criticised him at a press conference yesterday.

Hearn Snr was at the press conference on Sunday for Dillian Whyte vs Oscar Rivas and took aim at  The Gypsy King for taking a fight against Tom Schwartz.

He gave a 15-minute speech at the beginning of the press conference and commented on the current heavyweight division and how that the reality is 'money talks'.

It did come as a big surprise when Fury signed a TV deal with ESPN because it effectively rules out the possibility of a fight with either Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder.

Due to the difficulty of arranging a fight between two different TV companies, it seems as though Fury wanted to avoid a rematch with Wilder or a potential bout with Joshua.

“Tyson Fury is the best gypsy boxer in the world, ‘the king of gypsies’ and will fight any man whatsoever… His next opponent is ranked number 93 with BoxRec. Congratulations,” Hearn said.

And Fury has hit back with a statement of his own, telling Hearn’s son, Eddie, his dad’s ruining his job for him.

Tagging Matchroom’s usual front man in his Instagram post, Fury issued a statement to him, saying: “Eddie, please sort your dad out he’s ruining the job for you.

“He’s getting incorrect information with Tom Schwartz because we both know he’s ranked number two in the WBO and in the top 10 in the IBF.

Smiling and laughing throughout the video, the Gypsy King found himself hilarious, especially with each mention of a four-pack of Stella’s.

“Best thing to do Eddie is give him a can of beer and put him back in the cupboard,” Fury added.

Although Fury has been heavily criticised for taking the fight against Schwartz, he is highly ranked in the WBO and the IBF, we will just have to wait and see whether he will be a real test on June 15.
