The Philadelphia 76ers outplayed the Toronto Raptors to triumph 116-95 and grab a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference semi-final series.

Joel Embiid led the way for the 76ers, putting up a play-off career-high 33 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks at the Wells Fargo Center to put his side in the driving seat ahead of game four.

The 76ers ran away with the game in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Raptors 27-14, and MVP candidate Embiid hitting two free throws and a three-pointer in the final quarter.

Jimmy Butler was in equally-fine form, finishing just shy of a triple-double with 22 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.

Kawhi Leonard matched Embiid with a top score of 33 points for the Raptors, but will no doubt be hoping to get the better of his rival when the 76ers host game four on Sunday night.
