Lio Rush has been the talk of the internet in WWE-centric conversation this week, and seemingly everyone has an opinion on what he's had to say.The rumour mill went into overdrive after new reports detailed the backstage heat he had with the WWE locker room, so bad that he was expected to not be seen on the main roster for a while - if at all.Rush had his own say on matters to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, where he stated that he's struggling living on the road and he cannot provide for his family. He also told of how he refused to carry bags for senior WWE superstars as it would make him look bad as a 'black superstar' and he also played down a reported discussion with Finn Balor where he supposedly brushed off advice that the Irishman gave him.Yet more details came to light in the last few days of Rush's situation, as he's apparently turned down a $300,000 contract - asking for double the money in the process - and he was also kicked out of the locker room during the European tour last November. It's all been a bit of a whirlwind for the mouthpiece of Bobby Lashley, and now a WWE Hall of Famer in the form of Mark Henry has gotten involved. It turns out that Henry himself tried to give Rush some advice, but like the reported situation with Balor, he was brushed off.Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Henry said, per Cageside Seats: “The reason that I’m angry is because I pull him aside and told him ‘Hey man I’m hearing stuff in the locker room, what’s up?’ [Rush’s voice] ‘Oh no, there’s nothing wrong.’"That’s a blatant lie to my face! I was trying to help him. I was trying to let him know that if you have a question to ask, now is the time because you’re very likely not going to run into anyone that knows the system like I know the system. And he didn’t do that. He lied to my face."On the subject of Rush's claim that he cannot afford to live life on the road on his salary and his lack of royalties from merchandise, Henry suggested that the 'Man Of The Hour' look closer to home if he wants to be sustainable."If you’re walking around and cannot pay for a rental car, you can’t pay for a hotel with the money that you make every week?" Henry questioned."Then you need to change the way you are spending. You can’t blame that on the office. If you spent everything you made before you got it, that’s your problem.”Henry suggested that Rush should indeed be helping carrying bags and having a bottle of water for Lashley backstage after his match ready for him, as that's the kind of thing he did when he was breaking into the company.Rush is not a popular man in some circles this week, and Reby Hardy, the wife of Matt, posted a tweet that summed up her feelings towards Rush.

This saga could rumble on for a while, and it may end up with Rush not returning to WWE television in any capacity at all.
